We are evolving ways of improving performance. This can take different forms. We have been instrumental in developing a tool to help schools collect and analyse details about crime and disorder in and around their premises (IMAT). And working with the police in the UK (the Association of Chief Police Officers Crime Prevention Initiatives) we have co-developed a scheme that enables organisations to gain a police accreditation (Secured Environments) for effective security practice. So for the first time organisations can gain a police awarded certificate for following good crime prevention practice.
