Key Areas of Responsibility and Interest: Martin is the Director of Perpetuity Research and Consultancy International as well as a Professor of Criminology. He has a particular interest in business crime and the security sector. Recent projects have included how offenders choose their targets and get around security measures, perceptions of security management (under the umbrella of the Security Research Initiative), and studies of CCTV, security guards, tags and other measures.
Key Areas of Responsibility and Interest: Mike is the Director of Optimal Risk Group - the new company formed when Perpetuity Consultancy and Greymans were merged. Mike is a member of ASIS in the UK and holds both its Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Physical Security Professional (PSP) qualifications. He’s also an active director and Fellow of The Security Institute.
Charlotte Lawson Researcher
Key Areas of Responsibility and Interest: Since joining Perpetuity in January 2009, Charlotte has worked on a range of projects, with particular interest in Community Safety and Security. Her work in Community Safety has included an audit of violent crime, drug and alcohol needs assessments, a strategic review of domestic abuse, mapping of support service provision for sex workers, and developing local understanding of serious acquisitive crime. Her work in Security has included a survey on security in schools, an evaluation of a pilot security system on public transport, and a project exploring partnership working between the police and private security.
Key Areas of Responsibility and Interest: Jackie is responsible for the administration of all accounts for Perpetuity Research and Consultancy International, as well as Training and Conferences. She liaises with suppliers and customers to ensure that the finances are up to date.

Ian Hall Consultancy Associate
Key Areas of Responsibility and Interest: Ian Hall worked as the Head of Security Consultancy at Perpetuity from July 2009 to May 2011, with responsibility for managing the delivery of all consultancy contracts awarded to the company. Ian now works as an associate on security consultancy work.
Key Areas of Responsibility and Interest: Jon has an extensive track record in qualitative and quantitative methods and in coordinating and managing research projects in local government and the voluntary sector. In the past he has been involved with projects that engage with all sections of the community. Jon worked for Perpetuity Research in early 2011 and is now involved in projects as a research associate.

Ken Livingstone Director of Perpetuity Training
Key Areas of Responsibility and Interest: Ken is the Director of the Perpetuity Training and is responsible for developing course content as well as training delivery. Ken's particular area of interest is in all areas of security management including surveys, risk management and continuity and contingency planning.

Amy Burrell Training Consultant
Key Areas of Responsibility and Interest: Amy holds a BSc in Applied Psychology (University of Durham) and an MSc in Forensic Behavioural Science (Centre for Investigative Psychology, University of Liverpool), and is currently working towards a PhD in Forensic Psychology (University of Leicester). Amy worked as a Research Fellow for the UCL Jill Dando Institute of Crime Science for four and a half years; the last 11 months of which she was seconded to the Government Office for the West Midlands (GOWM) to provide support to local partnership analysts. Amy then joined Perpetuity Research as a Research Assistant in 2008 before moving across to join the Perpetuity Training team in late 2010.
Katrina Lister Business Co-ordinator
Katrina joined Perpetuity Training after graduating from Leicester University with a degree in Psychology and Sociology. Katrina is responsible for the co-ordination of the set-piece and distance learning courses.
